Gross Misconduct

Hillary Clinton was asked how she felt about a new book that says Karl Rove is convinced she will be the 2008 candidate for President. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton said Monday that President Bush's chief political strategist "spends a lot of time obsessing about me."

Now. That's. Just. Disgusting.

The man looks like a grubworm. I've never seen photos of his alleged wife and children, so I can only speculate. I never really believed that Jeff "Man-whore" "On your knees, boy. At Attention" Gannon was spending all that time in the White House teaching military drill to Mr Bush. That guy just likes to dress up and play soldier in front of real soldiers. Mr Gannon's skyrocketing advance into the White House press pool, and his perfect ability to lob in distracting softball questions always smelled of Rove/Orwell manipulation.

And isn't THAT a creepy thought? (How'd you like to be "manipulated" by Karl Rove, bunky?)

I don't doubt Mrs Clinton would love to be President. (Say, can you imagine the hysteria in the Facsist Party and MSM is she got the election?) John Yoo, with his "unitary executive authority" would be found floating face down in the Tidal Basin pool in West Potomac Park, with "six in the noggin" - an obvious suicide.

Karl Rove is hopefully obsessing about orange jumpsuits, and lawyers.

UPDATE: Since I'm suffering from terminal geriatricism (and have the grey hair to prove it) I posted this without a title of classification. My sincere aplogies to any who were confused.

Lurch, this is off topic, maybe you can enlighten me. :-)

First, I have no military service. So my question is this: on my Saturday morning jog this past week, I was going round the high school and saw 2 soldiers in fatigues appear to be timing about 25 or so guys running around the school track. The runners weren't in fatigues, but most of them appeared to be wearing a similar gray and black warm up suit. But not everyone. It was also tough for me to gauge the average age of the runners, as I didn't have my distance glasses on.

Any ideas what that was? Recruiting? National Guard training? I didn't notice any obviously military vehicles. Thanks, and sorry for my ignorance!

I would have absolutely no idea. Where are you located, geographically? If you don't want to "out" yourself by posting, contact me by email. The black & grey color scheme sounds a lot like West Point, but who knows?

Why not contact the school administration and ask them? Tell them what you saw, and it piqued your interest.

I'm in Morris County, NJ, one of the MOST Republican counties in the entire US. Though that doesn't describe me at all. ;-)

Maybe I will contact the school. Twas odd, I never saw that before, and we've lived in town for almost 15 years. I know there is a Nat Guard armory in the next town over.

Phone call was not helpful. Guess I'll leave it for now, but will follow up more diligently if I see that again.

Lurch, another off topic: does my email address come through when posting? I had a question or 2 for you, offline, regarding veterans affairs.

wk, when you say "not helpful" do you mean they said they didn't know or they refused to tell you? Ask at the regional school district.

If you read an entry, you'll see that a writer's pen name is highlighted, which will lead to an email form, usually Outlook Express in Windoze, if you click on it. Cut and paste the email address and insert it into your usual email program.

Feel free to email me, wk.

Lurch, by not helpful, I meant the phone answerer said "I don't know." Maybe I can email the Principal or call the Board of Ed.

Funnily enough, clicking on your name only redirects back to the site URL! :-)

Thanks, wk. Who knew? Today is a success because I learned something new. :-)

That must be one of those unknown knowns that Mr Rumsfeld was babbling about while he was dissembling at a press misdirection.

I sent you an email to reply to.

My dad always said, as long as you learn one new thing every day, that can only be a good thing. :-)

I replied.
