Now that Mr Wolfowitz has locked in his unearned $400,00 “performance” bonus, he’s ready to leave, just as long as everyone understands that like all Bu$hies, he did nothing wrong. The errors were all made by someone else, including the World Bank, his side dish, Shaha Ali Riza, she of the uncertain national loyalty, the Germans, (of course) the French (ditto) and the New York Mets.
But not Paul D Wolfowitz, because neoZionists are always right. If it looks like they’ve made a mistake, it’s tour fault; you have bad perception.
The key to the whole conundrum of when he was going to leave was telegraphed the other day when Mr Bu$h said that he didn’t want to mix in the affair but that he hoped it was settled amicably. That meant he had threatened the World Bank with some sort of dire consequences if they didn’t pay off Mr Wolfowitz and absolve him of all the crimes and broken laws that he has been so well-documented having done.
The next question is what ringer Mr Bu$h will put in place to continue the disastrous policies that Wolfowitz was installed to carry out.
Two suggestions:
Tony Blair
John Bolton
Both are loyal Bu$h running buddies, currently out of a major cash-paying gig, and believe that democracy is a flawed political system that should be replaced by some form of authoritarian oligarchy, or an outright dictatorship.
Votes (and additional suggested candidates) will be tallied over the weekend, and the winner(s) will be announced - oh, sometime next week or the week after, if that's all right with you.
As a second contest, the entry with the most obnoxious or ultra-snark suggestion will receive a life time supply of nitrogen.
